Golf cart rental
Sayulita is walkable, but a cart makes the beach runs, grocery trips and hot afternoons much easier. We keep two carts for our guests.

Good to know before you book
- Price
- $55 USD a day by card, or $45 USD a day in cash (US dollars, Canadian dollars or pesos)
- Security deposit
- $500 USD held on your card, even if you pay cash. We place the hold the day before pickup and release it once the cart is back.
- Rental days
- Noon to noon, for at least two days
- Booking ahead
- Book by noon the day before. We can't take same day bookings.
- Driver
- 18 or older, with a full driver's licence from any country. Learner's permits and moped licences aren't accepted. You check it online when you book, with a photo and a quick selfie.
- Pickup and return
- Tony has the cart charged and ready for you. The day before pickup, we email you his WhatsApp to set a handover time. Cash is paid to Tony at handover.
- Charging
- The carts are electric, with lithium batteries. Please plug yours in each night.
- Changes and cancellations
- Cancel until noon the day before pickup: card payments are refunded, less the card processing fee. After that, or if you don't collect the cart, the first day is charged.
- Who can rent
- Our carts are a perk for guests staying with us, for dates during your stay

- The day beforeWe place the $500 hold on your card and email you Tony's WhatsApp to set a handover time.
- Handover, from noonTony sees your licence, shows you the cart and how to charge it, and hands you the key. Cash is paid here.
- Return, by noonGive the key back to Tony. He gives the cart a quick check.
- All doneWe release the hold the same day. Your bank may take a few days to show it.

Can I rent a cart if I'm not staying with you?
No, sorry. Our two carts are a perk for guests staying with us.
What if the cart has a problem?
Message Tony on WhatsApp and we'll sort it out with you.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes. Until noon the day before pickup, use the cancel link in your booking email (card payments are refunded, less the card processing fee). To change dates, message us on WhatsApp. After that, or if you don't collect the cart, the first day is charged. If your stay changes, we move or cancel the cart with it.
What if you have to cancel my cart?
Our carts are our own, and sometimes one breaks down or isn't available, so we may cancel a cart booking at any time. We let you know straight away and refund you in full for any days you don't use, but we can't arrange a replacement. We suggest Riviera Golf Carts for another cart.
Do I need a Mexican licence?
No. A full licence from your home country is fine, as long as you're 18 or older.
Do I need to charge it?
Yes, please plug it in each night. Tony shows you how at handover.
