Casa Karma opened to guests in 2025, in a traditional style: brick vaulted ceilings, terracotta floors, arched windows and Talavera tile, filled with work by local artists. It's the kind of privacy that's rare this close to town: mornings by the pool, afternoons at the beach, evenings at home.
“The house is really charming and peaceful, the pool/yard is gorgeous and it's really close to town but still on a quiet street. Host was responsive and check in was easy.”“Está súper equipada la casa en cuanto a utensilios de cocina, muy privada y muy tranquila la zona, súper recomendable la estancia.”“Excelente estancia, muy ameno pasar el tiempo ahí, volveremos sin duda.”A quiet residential street in Sayulita's south end, close to town.

What we tell our own guests: the beaches, getting around, where to eat and when to come.

The south end of Sayulita sits between town and Playa de los Muertos, close to Carricitos and quiet at night. Here's how it compares with staying in the centre.

A local guide to Sayulita's beaches: the lively main beach, Playa de los Muertos for calmer swimming, Carricitos for sunset and Malpaso for a jungle walk. Plus water quality.

The Sayulita restaurants our family and local team keep going back to, from a breakfast spot on the plaza to tacos by the river and a special night out.
